Patient attends the practice for a short appointment with the dentist and impressions of upper and lower teeth are taken, from these impressions bleaching trays are made, the patient returns to the practice 10 days later to have the trays fitted and the bleaching solutions are then given out, always with instructions. At this stage the patient has a shade taken of their teeth and they begin the whitening procedure. The patient wears the trays at night for 14 nights, a difference should be noticeable within a few days. This treatment will not change the colour of veneers and crowns, but it is a predictable way of whitening teeth to a desired shade.
